The two Chippendale Five Drawer chests were modeled after a chest featured in the book The New Fine Points of Furniture Early American¬† on page 97. This chest is built from South American Mahogany, the secondary lumber is Yellow Poplar. The chest features five graduated drawers,¬† the chests dimensions are 33 1/2″ h x 32 1/4″w x 20 1/2″ d. The chest features Chippendale escutcheon style pulls.

The Case tops for both chest is from a single board of Mahogany lumber.
